Storytelling in secondary schools (KS3 and KS4)

Storytelling is not about reading a story to a child. It is so much more. It is hard-wired into us as human beings. It is how we have survived for thousands of years. It should therefore be no surprise that a story well thought out and told is so incredibly powerful

The good news is that through the process of understanding of ourselves and applying and practicing techniques that work, we can become more authentic, engaging and confident speakers.

Business leaders and great speakers alike need to be able to share their ideas and stories in the best possible way to connect with their audience and create that experience where they will be remembered. This is often achieved by sharing narratives of history and future dreams, articulating lessons learnt or complex ideas.

Andy Loves to work with young adults in schools and universities to help them develop their confidence and ability to stand up in front of an audience and share their story.

Andy Copps worked for over 20 years in a variety of technology and financial services companies, including Sony and JPMorgan and identified a need for enhanced public speaking training that was more practical and interactive.

He has designed a CPD accredited programme, that provides tools to build and strengthen personal, academic and work relationshops. Let Andy introduce you to think creatively in your communication, try and apply new techniques and ultimately help you to connect with your listener.

Everyone’s story matter and and it just takes one person to listen.
