storytelling in schools

(EYFS, KS1, KS2, KS3, KS4 and SEN)

Storytelling is not reading but it sure helps to to read stories to tell one. Stands to reason why READING and STORYTELLING go together so well.

Thank you so much Andy! It was an absolutely incredible morning with all the children, across the primary phase. All 640 children included. Amazing!

From storytelling interactive performances to story creation workshops. Andy Copps has extensive experience in working with Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), Key Stage One and Key Stage Two for primary school ages, through to secondary school up to Key Stage 4.

Andy has also worked in schools for children with profound physical and mental challenges and utilises accessories including puppets and sensory aids to ensure all students feel included.

Storytelling is a wonderful interactive and educational motivator for both children and teachers. The techniques Andy uses in storytelling will boost creative imagination and confidence in children and young adults, to stand up and talk to a group of people, enhance collaboration among peers and boosting self esteem and well-being.
